Hanarokushô Ga Akeru Hi Ni
In this new strikingly dreamy Animé, a young boy aims to launch his late father's firework with his brother and friend, before the demolition of their factory.
Chichi (voiced by Miyu Irino), and his wilder-spirited kid brother Keitaro (Riku Hagiwara) live with their father Eitaro (Takashi Okabe), a widower, who’s family business is creating handmade fireworks in a factory surrounded by lush forest. Soon, government officials reclaim the land due to bad debts, replacing forests with solar panels, and want to demolish the now abandoned factory. But Keitaro will only go out with a literal bang, hoping to set off a fireworks to remember, that will forever honour the spirit of his family and the lands that surround. The brainchild of Yoshitoshi Shinomiya (‘Your Name’), this offers a heady blend of painterly backgrounds, beautiful character animation and a finale to be remembered. (Subtitles or Dubbed)
