Aubrey Flint navigates family relationships and unexpected love during the holiday season, as magical moments unfold and bring everyone closer together.
Aubrey Flint (John Bradley) is a deeply cynical and reclusive man who spends his days isolating himself from society and obsessively painting model soldiers. He carries a lifelong hatred of Christmas and unresolved personal grief. After a petty infraction, Aubrey receives court-ordered community service at Willow Lodge, a cozy but financially troubled retirement home that is on the verge of closing. Coerced into directing the residents' amateur production of ‘A Christmas Carol’, Aubrey clashes with the eccentric inhabitants - including a chain-smoking former West End diva (Celia Imrie) and a curious model-shop owner (Richard E. Grant). Enjoy this fun, festive and heart-warming Christmas offering which also includes Karl Pilkington and Jim Broadbent in its cast.
