‘La Traviata’ is a tragic tale about Parisian courtesan, Violetta, who meets the romantic aristocrat Alfredo. Finding herself in love for the first time, she abandons her frivolous lifestyle to be with him. Happiness is short-lived: the hypocrisy of upper-class society threatens their love – and she pays the ultimate price. This is not live capture of a stage performance; this is filmed on location with a diverse cast of singers and a troupe of magnificent dancers.
