It centres on humble farmer Wat Tyler (played by Andrew Garfield) who rallies thousands of commoners to march on London to protest against the brutal poll-taxes which came after the Black Death and demand socio-economic reform from the 14-year-old King Richard II. The impressive cast includes Jamie Bell, Stephen Dillane, Jonny Miller and Tom Hollander.
