Momo (Alexa Goodall) is an enigmatic red-haired girl who lives in the ruins of an old Roman amphitheatre and becomes friends with everybody in the neighbourhood. But when a powerful international corporation led by the evil Richter (Claes Bang) starts stealing everybody's time, nobody has any time left for her, let alone their friends or families - and Momo, together with Master Hora (Martin Freeman), the custodian of time, are the only ones who can go up against the time thieves before all is lost forever. This is the big-screen adaptation of Michael Ende's best-selling fantasy novel, and quite of the times considering how social media warps our worldview and eats away our time.
