One night he meets the enigmatic Emily (Sadie Soverall), dressed as a fairy, and sparks fly. But when he goes to text her the next day, it’s the wrong number. Owen then embarks on a maniacal quest to find his real-life manic pixie dream girl. Teaming up with a focused American psychology student, also named Emily (Angourie Rice), the pair stumble through misunderstandings, university chaos and an increasingly ridiculous search that slowly becomes more about finding themselves than finding the mystery girl.
