Unhappy music professor Joe (Seth Rogan) and his naturally anxious wife Angela's (Olivia Wilde) marriage is on thin ice. They decide to invite their upstairs neighbours Pina (Penélope Cruz) and Hawk (Edward Norton) down for a meal. Total opposites, this upstairs couple is unmarried and happy and not shy of allowing their screams of desire to seep down through the floorboards.
