Timothée Chalamet stars in the title role, featuring his early days as an eccentric chocolatier and how he met the Oompa-Loompas on one of his earliest adventures. Chalamet and newcomer Calah Lane lead the incredible ensemble cast which includes Matt Lucas, Mathew Baynton, Sally Hawkins, Keegan-Michael Key, Rowan Atkinson, Jim Carter, Tom Davis, Olivia Colman, Simon Farnaby and Hugh Grant.
